This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones tiffanyhuntromance.com uses, and how you can control them. “We” and “us” means Wild Ink Publishing, the company behind Tiffany Hunt’s books and this site. For everything else about how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site recognize your browser from one page to the next, or when you come back later.
Cookies set by the website you’re visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by a different company’s website are called third-party cookies.
The cookies we use
The only cookies we set for visitors are two first-party cookies from Google Analytics. They help us understand which pages and books interest readers.
_ga(Google Analytics): distinguishes one visitor from another. Lasts up to 2 years._ga_6NJQWJY870(Google Analytics): keeps track of your visit (session). Lasts up to 2 years.
Each cookie lasts up to 2 years unless you delete it sooner. Google Analytics uses them to measure things like which pages you view and how you arrived. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what’s collected.
Cookies we don’t use
- Login cookies for visitors. WordPress sets login cookies only for site administrators who sign in to manage the site, never for visitors.
- Advertising cookies. We don’t use any.
- Cookies for spam protection or visit counts. Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our contact form, and Jetpack Stats, which counts visits, set no cookies on our site.
Other websites’ cookies
When you follow our links to Amazon or other retailers, or to social networks such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, those sites set their own cookies under their own policies. For example, when you click one of our Amazon affiliate links, Amazon may set cookies on its site to credit the referral.
Why there’s no cookie banner
Because the only cookies we set for visitors are first-party analytics cookies, we don’t show a cookie banner. Instead, this page explains how you can turn them off.
How to control cookies
- Use your browser settings. Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies, either for all sites or for particular ones. Look for the cookie or privacy options in your browser’s settings or help pages.
- Opt out of Google Analytics. Install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which tells Google Analytics not to collect information about your visits, on this site and others.
